Rude personel. I asked for a panneau and they didn't want to sell me one because it's not applicable to my use case. My case was i modifying my house. I insisted i want one. The answer was still no.

Do it yourself indeed. The store is well organized. I was able to find the necessary tools needed to start my do it yourself project. What I like also, is the ease of going to the Garden shop. I was able to load up on plants and things needed to test my green thumb out...again. They offer a card for a small annual fee that allows a 5%/10% savings. I'll definitely be returning.

Store it self is good, has good selection and some employees are helpful. However, I had an extremely disappointing experience with an employee at the self-checkout section of Castorama. She demonstrated a shocking lack of understanding and professionalism. I had an item with me that I had purchased earlier from a different store, and she insisted on seeing a receipt for it. When I showed her the invoice online, she seemed completely incapable of understanding it.

Great department store, large selection - just don't ask the staff where to find a certain selection of products. All you will receive is a sarcastic answer of "it's in the store" followed by laughter from by standing staff members not doing much themselves.
